WhittleCart's business is helping you shop safely for your diet — not collecting or selling information about you. This page describes, in plain language, what data exists when you use this site and what happens to it.

This website (whittlecart.com)

• We set no cookies and run no analytics or ad trackers on this site.
• The site is served by Cloudflare, our hosting provider, which processes standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, requested pages) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• If you email hello@whittlecart.com, we receive your email address and message, and use them only to reply. Email forwarding is handled by Cloudflare Email Routing.

The WhittleCart app (when early access opens)

The shopping and meal-planning application is in private testing. When it opens to users, it will involve data this site does not — and this policy will be updated, with the effective date above changed, before that happens. The commitments we are making now:

• Dietary restrictions are sensitive. Your selected diets, allergies, and profile details will be used only to filter products and build plans for you — never sold, never shared for advertising, never used to profile you across other services.
• If you connect a retailer account (for example, to send a shopping list to a grocery cart), we store only the access credentials needed to perform the actions you request, and you can disconnect at any time.
• We will collect the minimum needed for the product to work, and the app's version of this policy will list every category of data explicitly.

Retailer and affiliate links

Links from WhittleCart to retailer websites (such as Walmart or Kroger) take you to that retailer's site, where their privacy policy applies. Some of those links are or may become affiliate links; the affiliate networks involved may use cookies on the retailer's side to attribute purchases. We receive aggregate commission reports from these programs — not your personal shopping data. More detail: Affiliate Disclosure.

What we never do

• Sell or rent personal information. To anyone, for any purpose.
• Let advertisers pay for placement inside safety results — see our disclaimer for how product verdicts work.
• Collect data from children. This site and the app are not directed at children under 13.
